The post-race party, this week, will be at The Golden Cicada. Normally closed on Wednesdays, they've invited us back and decided to open up tomorrow evening.

Format: Cash Bar/Food
Note: If the racing is cancelled due to weather, we can go to the Golden Cicada earlier. In this case, please join us at 6:30pm.

LYC Wednesday Night Racing
Wednesday Night Socials are open to our Wednesday Night Racers as well as LYC Members.
Events are held on the Lightship, on the docks, and at local bars. The format will vary throughout the series. For some events LYC will provide a full spread of food and beverages, some will just be light snacks and beverages, others will be a cash bar where you can buy your own drinks/food and for some events we ask you to bring your own and share with fellow racers potluck-style. As always if there is something in particular that you'd like, please feel free to bring your own to the Lightship and docks. Where weather is potentially an issue, we'll tend to choose to go to a local bar.
The following are subject to change due to weather forecasts: May 4th – Potluck on the Lightship For our second practice session, the post-race social will be a Potluck social event on the Lightship. For the potluck, please bring your own food and beverages to share with your fellow racers. We’ll have a cooler with ice available on the deck of the Lightship for anyone who needs to put food on ice before racing. May 11th - LYC hosted BBQ on the Lightship As the official season opener, LYC is planning to host a BBQ on the Lightship. The grills will be fired up. We’ll have burgers, hotdogs, and sides. Please bring anything special you’d like to throw on the grill. The plan is to have a cooler with ice available on the deck of the Lightship for anyone who needs to put food on ice before racing.
