22 crew across 8 boats cruised north over the weekend of October 19th & 20th to take in the fall colors, the beauty of the Hudson and experience the adventure and camaraderie of our yacht club!

The flotilla headed out Saturday morning, stopped for a lunch break at Croton Point-North some 35 miles up river. A few from the flotilla continued further north to Bear Mountain Bridge. There the river is narrower enabling even closer appreciation of the foliage and the spectacular terrain of Bear Mountain Park. Saturday evening saw the crew come together for a sumptuous dinner and drinks aboard flotilla lead boat Ever Faithful, with all contributing spectacular dishes we all shared. Special thanks to Brian and Kris on Moondance for ferrying crew between the boats! We returned back south on Sunday under sunny skies and reflected on a stunning weekend aboard the boats.

If you have not joined a LYC flotilla you are missing out on a true boating treat!

It really was an Epic weekend with weather cooperaing in such a spectacular way. While for most we spent one night away, we did so much it felt like a full weekend. We met new people and enjoyed the great company of fellow club members. Michael did such a awesome job running this trip and communicating so well with everyone Thanks again to Brian & Kris for being taxi. So much fun!
