Opening season Cruise & brunch
Despite a brisk, windy day on the water, we had a good turnout for our Opening Season Cruise and Brunch!
Members gathered for a delicious brunch, complete with a champagne, toast, and plenty of good company. We were thrilled to welcome new members Simon and Juliet McDonnell, presenting them with their Burgee as a warm initiation into our community.
Following brunch, four boats , Seagazer, Vita Grata, Velocitia & Spoon, with some seasoned salty dogs set out into the harbor for a scenic cruise, passing by none other than Lady Liberty herself. To mix things up, we rotated crew so everyone had the chance to connect with new friends and faces.
A highlight of the day was the Blessing of the Fleet, led by our Commodore Caroline Kornutik, who helped us kick off the season with tradition and good fortune.
