Liberty Yacht Club secured a timeslot for members to get a tour of the SailGP Technical Site. This is an exclusive opportunity to go behind the scenes at SailGP!

During the tour, participents will get to see the F50 Catamarans up close, as well as visit team bases and see our world class engineers at work! Patticipents will also have the opportunity to handle some of the materials used to build our F50 catamarans.

The F50 Racing Machine:

Top engineers and designers have created the F50 – a foiling, wingsailed catamaran that’s engineered for speed and performance. All teams will race identical boats, which makes for closer competitions and lays emphasis on the skills of the athletes. Meanwhile the design remains open to development, and during races data will be pushed back to teams to help improve performance in realtime, and allowing spectators to track their chosen teams.
