About the Event

The George Washington Bridge ! (GWB)  This is the destination for our final LYC Rendezvous of the 2022 season.

In LESS than 2 weeks, lets cruise together up the Hudson (North) River on Saturday, October 8th and anchor for brunch/lunch near the majestic GWB !

Attention all LYC Power Boaters…  This is PERFECT for you !

Its a short 10.2nm trip that at just 9kts would only take about 1-1.25 hrs.

Plan is for our fleet to get underway between 0930 & 1000 (IF) you wish to get a bit of a push by the tail end of the incoming tide, as by 1100 the ebb will begin.

Although it’s not likely anyone will be swimming…  fantastic scenery and great food /company is sure to abound.

A return South to the Morris Canal can be made anytime until about 1530 (IF) you wish a tidal advantage on the way home too.

Instead of S/V No Doubt the lead boat this time will be Lucas Lowenstien’s Beneteau Swift Trawler "Stagger Lee” from H-Dock and he has graciously extended an offer to take some LYC members along for the ride.

Lucas has anchored in this area many times so for those who may have not yet done so…  come along for some local knowledge and tips  !

Although you don't need to own a boat to join in the fun and we TRULY hope to see multiple boats join Lucas on the trip !  The more the merrier !

FYI, This is a LYC members only event and registration closes Thursday Oct. 6th so please sign up NOW and join us.

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
