About Vadim:

Vadim Vorobyov is an accomplished ocean/offshore navigator, part-time weather router and former professional sailor with over 34K nautical miles under his belt.  He has participated as navigator in most of the marquee offshore distance races along the East Coast of the US, including the Newport-Bermuda (placing 2nd in the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse Division in 2018), Annapolis-Newport, Vineyard, and Miami-Havana races to name a few.  In his spare time Vadim conducts seminars on marine weather and celestial navigation and holds a commercially-endorsed Yachtmaster (Ocean) certification from the Royal Yachting Association.
