Marc & Caroline on S/V No Doubt are heading to Port Washington this weekend 8/11 and then possibly Oyster bay for Saturday night 8/12, returning Sunday 8/13. We plan to depart the marina latest 430pm to make the tail end of Hellgate tide. Reach out if you'd like to tag along. Weather looks pretty good.

What a beautiful sight. We hope to be sailing to the home port on Sunday.
Looking at such a serene setting, it made me think how important it is to remember the women and men who made the greatest sacrifice so that we could enjoy these blessings. Hold them in our hearts this weekend and every day of our lives. The Freedom we enjoy and the Democracy they protected is their precious gift to each of us.
Save the date: Saturday June 24th - Sunday 25th. This is the first 'cruising' event of the year, and it's an easy and fun one! Sail to AH harbor and take a mooring (reservations suggested) or anchor out at the east end of the mooring field. Raft-ups on anchored boats is definitely an option (not for moored boats). Tides? Eh. Not in our favor, but once you clear the narrows it's easy peasy.
